Davis is a traction/immobilization splint, studied to immobilize fractures of the femur and consequently to ease pain, prevent damage to the tendons, vascular and muscular tissues. Davis is easy to apply thanks to belts with self-adherent strips closures and soft band for the lifting of the ankles. Its exclusive traction mechanism re aligns the fractured femur into the correct position. It restores the pressure of the tissues back to the traumatised leg, limiting haemorrhagic losses; it avoids damage to the nervous, vascular, muscular and bone tissues. Its original one piece design makes for fast and complete application in a few minutes. The telescopic system, micrometrically adjustable, combined with the extendable standing arch and the unbreakable nylon transport bag, make the Davis a compact device, easy to use and to store.
